Can Raster design supports the .img format (ERDAS)

I want to open the .img image (ERDAS & ArcGIS) in autocad map. Please let me know which version of AutoDesk is supports the .img format. Is the AutoDesk is having the ability to open the .img image format or not, if not please let me know any 3rd party tools are available to open the .img image file in AutoCad map verssions.

I don't have any information, except I did a web search & found that Photo Shop creates img files. It should be possible to open the file in Shop & convert it to a format that is usable.
