metric versus imperial ceiling tiles

I want to modify my system family ceiling grid to be 610x1220 instead of the preset 600x1200, but there is no option to do this or edit the system family. Do I need to go to the imperial library and load the equivalent in order to get the tile size correct?

The grid is just the surface fill pattern assigned to the ceiling tile material. You can edit it from settings/materials.
Be sure to make it a model pattern not a drafting pattern.
