Text Margins Changing

I am working on a small project in which i am writing out my specs in the construction documents, lots of text. When ever i select inside the text box, depending on how tight i am zoomed in, my margins for my text change within the text box. The size of the box doesn't change just the inside margins. The reason this is a problem is that the specs are in outline form and i use the tab key to indent. When the margins change it changes where my indentions are. Has anyone had this issue and how do you stop it?

Dealing with large amounts of formated text in Revit can be a problem.
