Is there a way, to get my dimension value to be aligned on the same line as the dimension line? Now, my dimension text is allways above the line, and my office autocad standart is that the text breaks the dimension line.. We also want this look in revit.
The lovest offset value I can give is 0 - I would have though that I could give it a negative value and move the text down.. But no..

Not at present. All you can do is drag the text so it aligns with the line.

Ok.. We will have to rethink our blueprint graphics then..
Thanks for your fast reply :)

Wow, is there any resolution to this yet? My guys on the jobsite have really started to complain that the text does not break the dimension line. Is there any reason that the developers can't give us control over this?

Interesting, we've never heard any complaints from anyone that our dimension text doesn't break the dimension line. Why is it so important that it does so to the guys in the field? It doesn't seem any more or less difficult to read either way, at least to me.

OLD SCHOOL CARPENTER!! Shouldn't be such an issue but it is just something for them to complain about!! Just wish it was an option; it seems simple. I think it is an acceptable graphic standard to break the dimension line right?
