Imported CRAZY text!!!

While I'm in a posting mood, this has been bothering me for a while...

Whenever I link or import from a .dwg, the text that comes in is most often useless. If I explode it all to single-line text before I import it it works better, but is still unpredictable. Anyone have a workaround?

Import it in the view, not the sheet. and don't just activate the view, open it then import.
