Export to AutoCad

Why is it that when I select to export to AutoCad (.dwg), and select to export sheets and whether or not I select export multiple to one file or as single files, I get an error that it can't export because the file is busy or something similar.

This is a constant error. I can export a single view, but not a sheet. Sometimes I can export a sheet, but rarely. Do I have some setting wrong or is this just clearly a bug and a problem that needs to be addressed with support?

Does the file have worksharing enabled?
Sometimes you'll get an error about the view being in use by another user.
Make sure all views have been relinquished by others.
