unit conversion

i am trying to insert a csv file into a new drawing, i have all my units setup as meters however when i insert the csv file it converts to imperial units. what can i do apart from working out each coordinate and height individually??????????

In the Toolspace on the Settings tab, right click on your drawing name and pick Edit Drawing Settings. What are your units set to?
