Floor pattern problem

I am not sure how it happened, but the 'Surface Pattern' sub-catagory under floors no longer exists in the office template. It is easy enough to add this sub-catagory back, but I have no way to associate any of the floor surface hatch patterns with this sub-catogory.

? Floor surface patterns are automatically assigned to Floors and controled by the Projection /Surface - Patterns column of objects styles/visibility graphics.?

No 'Surface Pattern' subcategory is needed unless you are talking about some other type of object. Perhapse something your office does with linework or in-place families is using this category?
