Tag-not it!!

We have made a detail component to indicate diffusers or lights and placed them into our RCP-we did not want to model thesse for a variety of reasons- but now can not tag them or have them show up properly in our schedules.
Please help!!

try making a hidden place in the model to place objects to make the schedule.

You could also make a family of the light etc. with just a white dot so it won't show or print.

I'm curious why you wouldn't want to model these things though.

You have to make a component of the proper family type for scheduling. Note that it can be nothing but symbol lines(or load your detail component into it) but it MUST be the proper family type.
