Display of Arcs and Circles

What is the setting to use to make your arcs and circles smooth instead of showing up as lines?

I believe the command is VIEWRES slelect "y" for fast zooms and set your circle zoom precent to 5000 or higher.

We have tried the "viewres" command and changed the settings with no affect on the drawing. The only way that I have found to correct the problem is to copy the whole drawing into a new drawing. This gets to be rather tedious when you have to do it for every drawing. Do you have any other ideas? Thanks

Just thought I would let you know that you have to change the "shademode" from 3D to 2D. I do not know if I gave enough information previously. Thanks
