Do you have a wall closure plane in your window family?

Did you add ref plane as wall closure in the family ?
What are the wall type properties for wall closure at openings ?

Not sure what you guys mean by closure ref. planes, but the window is not parametric but drawn to a specific size w/o locked ref planes to top, bottom and sides.

Open the window family and place a ref plane (within the boundaries of the host wall thickness). Look at the properties of the ref plane and one of the instance parameters is a Wall Closure check box.
The wrapping of wall layers at openings (windows, doors) is controlled by the wall style. Where the wrapping terminates is controlled by the closure planes inside the family.
You can place two closure planes, one for inside wall wraps and one for outside. If only one is defined, inside and outside wraps will both stop there.
