View Full Version : Brick Wrapping at Insert
See attached
Why does the brick veneer wrap into the core area of the wall and not stop at face of core?

Its based on the window family, not the wall. Open the window family and set a ref. plane to define where the wall wraps(its a prop of the ref plane.)

Wall wraps are controlled by the window family. See your other post :)

Can you post a couple of screenshots to show this condition. Sorry, but I am really dense today and this is just not showing up on my radar.

Here you go. Select the ref plane and click the properties button.

Just to add to the confusion. The wall also have to be set to wrap at inserts. Then you choos which component wraps.

I have had the same problems with inserts. Although i understand the theory...i still have problems in some cases.
I have only been using Revit for a month or so..is this something that just requires practice or does anyone have a tutorial on the subject so that I could check to make sure i am doing it right!
Thanks
Paul
