I have a floor plan with callouts, sections, and everything in it. I need to create a duplicate that view of the floor plan, but what I do that the exiting callouts all disappear and I need them to still be visible. The sections are still there but not the callouts. They are turned on in Visibility Graphics as well. I did check to see which Build I am running, it is not the current but it is 20070607_1700 which was supposed to have fixed this problem. Is this the standard way that callouts act or am I missing something?

Was the project started in an earlier version or build? I seem to recall that the bug doesn't fix existing callouts, but it might make sense to take a look at the issue list that came with the build.

Callouts have the ability to be created as either a floor plan, or a Detail. If they were created as details, they could be set to "Show in Parent Only". Also, we have fallen into the trap of having a portion of the plan in a plan region. Callouts made in that plan, largely within the plan region, disappear when duplicated, even if they are created as plans.

Thanks for the feedback, the callouts were created in the current build listed above, and the floor plan types are still not showing up. The particular instance that was the source of the problem was fixed by creating the callout as a Detail and unchecking the "Show in Parent Only". Is there any remedy or workaround for the issue occurring with the floor plan callouts that anybody knows of?

Thanks!

A floor plan callout will not be duplicated as this would require the simultaneous duplication of the called out view. This was the behavior for duplicated views in version 9.

Detail callouts are not duplicated, but will appear in duplicated intersecting views when that property is set.
