I've seen a few threads on this, and I'm still confused.

Is it possible to have a site plan (topo labels specifically) reference a civil elevation (here in Boulder about 5,000 ft) and in sections, elevations, etc. have the level tags read in architectural (1st floot = 100'-0")?

Topo and building model are in one file (I saw something about linked files and don't get it yet).

Thanks,

C

Yes you can in 5.1. Refer to the tutorials for New in 5.1 and then the Item under Project Documents, Setting a project's base elevation.

This will take you through the steps needed to create a new level style that will use a "true" elevation value instead. You'll then "move" your project to the "true" elevation via a specific command to do so.

You can then decide which type any level will display.

Very cool, done it a few times now.
