I just encountered a problem today where I am unable to edit a parameter I have set up in my title block. The Parameter is a shared parameter and it has been loaded into both the title block family and the project, but for whatever reason I am unable to edit the data. I keep getting the Red ?. I have reloaded the title block and re-applied the shared parameter to both the title block and the family.

Any thoughts on what else might be going on.
I have attached the files for reference. The parameter in question is "Reference Sheet Number" and it is found just below the sheet number.

Thanks

Figured it out. It appears that it had something to do with the order in which I was applying the shared parameter? (Can anyone confirm that this is the correct behavior. The order seems like it should be irrelevent.) I initially applied the parameter to the project first, then loaded the family. This was giving me the Red ?. I proceeded to remove the parameter from the project, reloaded the title block and then re-applied the parameter to the project. This seemed to fix the problem.

In a quick test in the current build I could not repeat your example.

I created a project and added a shared parameter to the project first and saved the project. Then I created a title block and added the same shared parameter and saved, then loaded it into the project. Selecting the title block I got the "blue" ? as expected.

Must be something else specific to your project and title block?

Thanks for taking a shot at this Steve. We had some earlier problems with our title blocks when we upgraded a few versions ago. This might be residual from those earlier issues.

We had a funny/very similar thing happen with a shared parameter in a titleblock yesterday.

We deleted then reloaded and it sorted it, maybe something in there is a wee bit buggy?
