Modify the end of a Concrete Beam

Can anyone help? I'm trying to modify the end of a concrete beam that intersects a slab at 45 deg's. Its difficult to explain in words so I have attached a file. There is probabIy a straight forward method however I am new to Revit and still learning.

Hi Noel

There are a few ways to do this, using the modeling tools you can create a void around the areas you do not want this will hide them. A better way i think would be to click "Opening" and then "Opening By Face" then draw around the areas you want to trim, much easier.
