Oce TDS 700

Hi guys,
We recently upgraded to this printer and scanner. Our scanner scans very slow, does anyone else experiences this problem? before we did not experience this problem. only difference now is that we do not have a software like reprodesk anymore. any feedback would be grateful.

Did you get the color scanner with the TDS700?
If so, there are a variety of settings (color vs. B/W, dpi, etc.) that have an effect on the scan speed. Have you received your in-house training from Oce yet?

Yes we did get the scanner with the tds 700. and no we did not get training. but the guy mentioned that the scanner is in fact that slow. for some reason that is hard for me to understand. would the reprodesk program impact the speed of the scanner?

All I can tell you is that we just got a TDS700 with the color scanner installed also, and the scan speed depends on various settings in the scanner. Oce should provide a 1/2 day of training where they show you all this stuff.

Repro Desk has no effect.

I'm located in L.A. the other thing is that we used to have the 650 i believe... and it had the scanner as well, that was fast and productive. this new 700 is about 4x slower...
