Anyone know what the limitations are for a raster image in order for it to be draped on a surface successfully? Is there a size limitation or a format limitation? I want to drape an ECW formatted, georeferenced aerial photo (uncompressed size = app. 120 mb) over a surface that's shaped rather like a donut... in other words it has a hole in it. Ive tried GeoTIFF formats, JPG formats, all without success. Any ideas? Oh - and i have oodles of RAM and a 128mb video card. I've also set my image memory limit up to 500 MB. I can't think of what else to try. Any suggestions?
