Screen Flashes

My screen flashes after about every three or four commands. It is really annoying. I just upgraded to MAP3D 08, but it also happened in 05. Any help will be greatly appreciatted. I am using a LCD and a CRT monitors. It will do it on either.

It is not a constant flicker like mentioned in another thread.

Well after reading other threads about screen flashes I decided to try some of the fixes mentioned in them. I finally uninstalled the microsoft intellipoint mouse. Now no flashes.
