Stair and arrow Up & Down

Hi Folks again;
when you create a stair with boundary and raisers the arrow up/down dose not work and dose not show in the plans is any way around this? and if not what is the best practice to create one

This is an old problem unfortunately. It will not show up. The solution is to place text and and leader or create an annotation symbol instead. The up/dn text is a clumsy feature anyway since the location of the text only works for one view scale because the text is the same text in all views. When you go to an enlarged view the location of the text isn't acceptable when it is in your regular floor plans. They need to rethink the whole of the stair/railing toolset.

There have been numerous threads about this over the last few years, a search should yield comments by others and how they prefer to resolve it.
