Custom Wall parameters

I recently downloaded some walls from USG that are UL rated walls. with that wall all this custom information came in (see attachment). my question is that does anyone know how they did this. is it something that I am overlooking?

I am sure it was done with shared parameters. You have to attach it as a project parameter applied to the wall families as a type parameter.

Project parameters.
Check on your settings menu to see them all. Once created and assigned to an object category they are 'imported' into a project when the families are loaded.
When you create new project parameters you can assign them to the various object categories so they are available in the properties.
