ER-Diagram for Revit Database

in a study on cost estimating with BIM I currently examin
the possibilities of Revit ODBC export.
Could anyone help me to find an ER-diagram for
Revit Architecture 2008 please?

Entity relationship diagrams for Revit don't exist AFAIK. However understanding Revit in particular project parameters/shared-parameters in exporting with ODBC will help you understand the subtle aspects of what youa re wanting to do. Otherwise the SDK in SP2 has an API command that updates an ODBC database which will help.

but what does it mean "ER-Diagrams don't exist for Revit." ?
I'm not that expert in databases and don't know how Autodesk
designed Revit but ER-Diagrams appear essential to me when
designing DB-based applications.

Sure I could retrace all Entity Relations manually but... :-(
