Max. Baluster Spacing

I am trying to create a railing that behaves as follows: Post spaced every 5' max. and balusters every 4" max. For example if the railing were 20' long there would be 5 post with 4 equal spaces of 5 feet, if the railing were 20' 5" long there would be 6 post with 5 equal spaces of 4'-1". The balusters that fill between the posts would need to behave the same way. I seems like what I need is in the Edit Baluster Placement a Justify option of Shrink Pattern to Fit instead of Spread Pattern to Fit.

Is there a way to do this in Revit?

I'm looking for the same thing and four years later the answer still seems to be "no". I find this hard to believe.

I almost always (and really can't remember not) evenly space a series of posts / balusters considering a maximum distance between them, as specified by the structural engineer. Does anyone have a tip on how to achieve this?
