brick walls between metal columns - HELP

I've drawn 2 metal columns, and then placed a brick wall between them.

PROBLEM: at the moment of placing the wall, since it touches the columns it "absorbs" them, so in the 2D sheet the drawing shows only a brick wall: where there were the metal columns now its just the prolongation of the brick wall, THE METAL COLUMNS ARE CONVERTED IN BRICK COLUMNS !!!

Use the structural columns (structural tab) instead of the architectural ones. The structural ones don't have that property.

I believe that if you use the Unjoin Geometry command and select the columns this fix the problem. If the metal columns are structural you may want to replace them with a strutural column available from the structural tab of the design bar and this should also solve the problem.
