Help Please.. Shape Files Disaster.. CAD 08

I have a ? ..

I have a drwg from an Arch. that I had shape files attached to it.. When I open the drawing in CAD it asks to select the file.. Well I have No shape file so I hit cancel..

I continue w/all the changes to the drwg then try to plot..:roll:

AUTOCAD 08 tells me " Cannot plot because of a serious problem".. Okay...........well.. the problem w/that dang bubble is it doesn't tell you the problem...

in a nutshell.. it will not plot out the drawing.. Why is this? I tried Compiling and that was successful.. and I know I plotted this before.. What am I missing? :shock:

If you are interested in finding out what is referencing the shape file (so you can remove it), then you might take a look at:
