Hi,
Is it possible to make different kinds of wall families in Revit?
For instance, the default wall family in Revit are basic wall, stacked wall and curtain wall.
Is it possible to make families that are material based......such as brick on mtl, concrete masonry etc...??(In revit, these exist as Types and not as families...)
Thanks!

You can make as many wall types as possible, naming them in any way you like.
As you already mentioned, there are only 3 family types of walls....these are fixed, and frankly, they are the only ones you need (we need a way to angle the wall in section, but that should be a property for each of the 3 wall families that already exist)
Just take a Basic wall that is the closest you like, duplicate it and modify accordingly and name as you wish.....
EDITED
In case you don't know how to duplicate a wall....just select and go to properties of a basic wall, then click on "Edit/New" and then duplicate....
In the project browser you can duplicate as well...
