Structural bracing and architectural walls - display issue...

Hello:

With hidden line projection, structural cross braces hide the portion of the wall that is beneath the brace. This is causing concern- while it is a true depiction of the condition, it does not conform to architectural drafting conventions.

Is there any way to have structural bracing elements plot as "transparent" entities, and not hide the wall beneath?

have you tried overriding the Visibility/Graphic of the element and making it transparent?

Thanks for the tip!

That override gives us exactly what we're looking for. We also overrode the linetype to dashed 1/8", so the results reflect architectural drafting conventions.
