Stair Railing to Guardrail - strategy?

I've never solved the connection between a stair railing and an adjacent guardrail very satisfactorily. Anyone have any typical approaches for getting continuity between a stair rail and an adjacent guardrail (residential, so all are at 36", and continuous in the case I am discussing).

When it comes to modeling railings on stairs, there is still a lot to be desired in Revit...
my advice is not to spend all your time trying to get a perfect connection, maybe a combination of detail lines and filled regions...

Is this what you are after? Note rename the zip file, removing the zip extension - the file is NOT zipped. This requires the techsmith codec to play.

you will have a hard time making it continuous, you will need to get the horizontal rail to be the same height as the one coming down the stairs (it should be anyway)
and get flush.
