Selecting hidden objects in 2007

I can't select - or snap to - objects when in Hide mode; went over all system variables, couldn't find anything that seems to relate to this problem. Any idea how to fix this? TIA

Try to AUDIT the drawing. Just type that in, hit Y, and hope. I use that often to force ACAD to take a good close look at every single object in my drawing when I have certain issues. Good luck!
