Currently our office Revit standard is to have separate site and building models for a project and have the two linked together via shared coordinates. But when it comes time to document the site what file should that be done in? Part of me thinks that it makes the most sense to do all the CD documentation in architectural building file so that all of the plot sheets and details are in one file. But can I create a schedule in my architectural file that will schedule data inside of the linked site file?

Yes, your drawing list can include the sheets from your linked models, area and parking can also be included. Teh only thing you can't do is reference(ie section marks pointing to the linked file)
