Multi-Category Tag for Floors

Is it possible to create a multi-category tag that you can use to tag a floor object?

I have a client who has created a MCT with a variety of shared parameters. All the parameters are correctly associated with wall, roof and floor categories. The tag family correctly tags walls and roof objects but it won't allow the floor to be tagged with anything but a floor tag.

I also tested using just the OOTB parameters available and it won't tag using those either.

Any insight would be helpful

I am now coming across that issue as well, I was checking to see if you had found resolution or found a work around for that issue?

Doesn't seem to be a resolution. I'm at AU as I type and I'm hoping to tap in to the collective brain trust find out if I'm dense or it's just not possible.
Steve Stafford suggested it might be that floors couldn't be tagged for the longest time and that functionality may have fallen through the cracks when they enable tagging.
I'll keep you posted.
