room Area schedule

I haven't done any room schedules before and now I am confused. I created a room schedule with these informations added in it ..NAME;LEVEL AND AREA, Everything is great except for the Area part. It does not provide the room area and instead it says Not placed even if the room does exist.

Does the phase of the room schedule (check in view properties) match the phase of the rooms?

I.E. If the phase of the schedule is later than the phase that the rooms were created in, those rooms won;t appear in the schedule....
