I searched, but didn't come up with any other threads, so if this is actually a duplicate, I'm sorry.
I'm on LDT 2008, trying to do a match cell in my table - it won't work. what I had done was add a column, but the cells were still formatted for percentage. I changed my data in my first cell in that column to be whole number, with " as the suffix. I then did a match cell, but it didn't change anything. is there something I'm missing?

I don't have Land Desktop 2008 and I don't know if you have a SP released that is equivalent to Vanilla AutoCAD SP1 (its probably SP2 for Land Desktop). I have SP2 for Civil 3D 2008 (which equals SP1 for Vanilla). Before I got SP2, match cell worked fine but now with SP2 its kind of hit and miss. I think it got broken when other stuff was fixed. So for now, until it gets straighten out, I suggest hightlighting all cells you want the same then mass edit with the properties command.

oh..........I bet it's a SP issue, then. I forget, how do I tell if I have SP2 or not? I think I do, but I can't remember. thanks!

from the pull down menu HELP then "About AutoCAD Land Desktop". Then in the upper right hand corner of the About Dialog Box, hit the Product Information Icon. On the left hand side second box from the top product service pack.it was have AutoCAD Land Desktop SP (1 or 2)

Ok SP1 for LDT 2008 did not have any table fixes according to the readme file. So youstill got the original table problems. yes I would just mass edit those cells by using the properties command and hope the next SP fixes it. Now just to clarify you were matching like cell type demical to decimal. whole number to whole number right.
