modify floors in generic floor based families

I want to make a floor based family that is larger in dimension than the standard piece of floor given to me inside the family template. Is there a way to alter the dimensions of the floor to accomodate my dreams?

I don't think the Family cares for the size of the template floor
just make it bigger

Edit the floor and make the floor sketch larger....

Finish sketch, and you have your larger floor in the template
