In-Place Family is Black?

Hey all,

Need a little help, why is it when i create an "In-Place Family" and create a Perspective view, the family turns black. Is there any way to keep the color like in the "3D" view?

I've attached a PDF of the area using the "Perspective view" (the revision cloud) (1.0)

And i've attached the "3D" view (2.0)

You are probably using a drafting pattern on the bulkhead - they don't all show up well in perspective views and may be over-riding the colour background.

Remove the surface pattern or change to a model pattern and see if that solves the problem (can copy required pattern in revit.pat file and change from %TYPE=DRAFTING to %TYPE=MODEL, then create new fill pattern in Revit - settings>fill patterns>model>new>custom>import - locate your revit.pat file location, choose the pattern you want and adjust the scale to suit)
