A quick glance at this family will tell anyone that I'm not very familiar with Joist Girder shapes. Well, I'm still in school so i've still got quite a bit to go. I'm hoping that someone can take a look at this family and suggest a couple of things for me:

1) Shape, is it even close to what an open web Girder would look like?
2) Web Rod array, something about my calculations is making them overlap. Any ideas?
3) I don't have Revit Strucutre, so if any kind engineer would like to look at it and fill in the analysis number, that would be tres cool!

Thanks for your time!

Check out http://www.vulcraft.com/. They are a joist manufacturer. This will give you the shapes and designs of all your joists.

Also, K-series are simply open web joists that come either with double angle or bar bracing panels. The term 'joist girder' usually refers to something else. It typically is designed by the joist manufacturer based on the number of joists bearing on the callout. You might see a joist girder called out as "40G5N11.9". This indicates a 40" maximum depth, with 5 joists bearing, and an 11.9k load at each bearing.
