opening by face

Hi,

could anyone tell me how to get rid of the opening in a slab or beam
which was created by the new function of RST2008
"OPENING BY FACE"

All you need to do is select the opening itself and hit the delete button or the "del" key on your keyboard. If that's not working for you, please let me know. (And which build of Revit you are using. The build number can be found on the Help>About Revit Structure 2008... menu.)

Just can't imagine it's so simple.
I always pick the opening --> then Edit ---> delete the line--> warning !

No worries :) it usually takes a while to "get the hang of it".

I'd also like to say thanks for sharing your "mental model" as it were. It definitely helps to understand how you and/or others "think" about using a feature.
