View Full Version : Locking take-offs to main duct

Can't speak for the rest of the planet but flexible duct spigots attached to the sides of rigid ductwork like the ones shown in the attached screenshots are used everywhere here in Australia.
Our initial problem was that no circular take-off, or spigot (including damper etc) came with Revit MEP. Ok, so we made one up. It works quite well, but the frustrations with it are:

1. It won't "lock" onto the main duct. It can be aligned and the alignment can be locked so that when the duct is moved laterally the spigot moves with it; trouble is, when the main duct is moved up or down the spigot stays where it is.

2. It won't connect itself into the "system"

Any ideas how these could be overcome?
