I have 2 different walls that come together end to end. Both walls have Gyp on both sides but one wall is significantly wider than the other. I can't seem to get the gyp to wrap even though I have edited the wall wraps to do so..
Does anyone know how to adjust this?
See the attached image for further clarification..
Thanks

Make sure the walls are set to wrap at the ends. Disallow the joins, then use the edit cut profile tool to clean it up. I wish I knew a better way.

I would use a separate furring and plasterboard wall and join it with the structural wall

Forgive me, but I'm fairly new to Revit..
1st - How do I disallow the joins?
2nd - I know how to edit a wall profile in elevation, but how do you edit the "Edit Cut Profile" in plan?
Thanks

Select the wall. Right click on the blue dot control point at the end of the wall. Disallow joins is in the pop up menu.
2nd - I know how to edit a wall profile in elevation, but how do you edit the "Edit Cut Profile" in plan?
"Edit cut profile" button is to the left of the demo hammer on the menu bar. Check the help file for detailed instructions on how this function works.

OK... I've disallowed the wall joins and I then edited the "edit cut profile" to wrap the stud and gyp around the corner of my wall, but now I have real heavy line weights where I drew the wall wraps from the edit cut profile tool.
How do I tidy up my line weights so that the wall reads properly in Plan? See attached Image

You can use the Join Geometry tool to fix it.

Thanks for the response, but join geometry only joined the 2 walls. The edit cut profile line work was not affected. Am I using the tool wrong? or is there another way to correct this?
I have noticed that when you hover over the edit cut profile line work Revit calls the element "Edit Cut Profile: Face Region: Edit Cut Profile". Is there a way to assign line weights to this so called "Face Region" in the edit cut profile?
Thanks
