Hi there, I'm new to AUGI and pretty much new to AutoCAD.
I've loaded the educational version of AutoCAD 2008 on my desktop and it's running fairly smoothly, apart from a couple of repeating, and irritating problems:
1. Occassionally trimming a line will cause the system to crash, it tends to happen with a particular line and if I go back to trim that particular line then it crashes again. I then ended up working around using trim for that particular line. This happens perhaps once every couple of hundred trims.
2. More significantly the information off my properties manager keeps dissappearing. I right click on the blue node of a line and open properties, the box opens but says no information available.
This happens at seemingly random intervals upto many hours apart. The only way I've found so far to get the box back is to repair the software. An interruption it's best to avoid when you get a good work momentum going.
I am using Vista Home Premium 32 bit, I have 2 gigs of RAM, a high spec gfx card and a good duo core processor.
