Modify wall section profile.

I'd like to create a 12" wall. The top of it would stair step in section. So the outside face would go in 6" then step up 6". Can I do that? Could you explain how?

Add a reveal to the wall. to do this you create a profile-hosted family, draw the rectangle shape you wish to cut out of your wall. then load it into your project, then in the structrure prop of the wall click the preview button, change to section, then you'll see new tools, one is reveal add the reveal to the top of the wall.

Brick ledge for another wall? If so you don't even need a notch in the wall. The brick extending down will cut the notch when the two walls are joined....
