OLE Problems

Hi All, I have taken a job as an AutoCAD Drafter. The guy who was here before me was supposed to stay a couple of weeks & show me what he's got going on. He has everything in unknown files etc. I'm trying to edit Excel Spreadsheets he inserted as OLE's. I double click on the OLE do the editing, but when I get back to the drawing the OLE has changed shape, size etc... Anybody have experience with this? Thanks

It has to do with how the OLE was inserted. You can kind of link your exel fiile into can as an updatable OLE type object. But if you forget one step upon inserting (I haven't done it in a long time so I don't remember where the option is) instead of adjusting the object in cad to stay the same size as the excel sheet, it just scales to fit in the same size box/boundry.
If you were to look at the help file (press F1) for linking excel files, you should find the answer.
