View Full Version : Edit family in Revit 2008

I just got Revit 2008, and the first thing I noticed is that I can not edit an existing family.
When I worked in Revit 8.1 if I pick a door, for example, I could edit the family just clicking the "edit family" buttom or making a right click and going to edit family. But I can not do this in Revit 2008, I can not believe this. It has to be some way.

It is the same in 2008. However, families made before the introduction of this feature need to be manually upgraded. Use the File > Save to Library feature first. Open the family. Save. Reload. It should work like others.
