room number will not show up on room tag

Ok. I have a floor plan whose rooms have been created in Revit and the Name of the room is displaying but not the number. In the properties window I have checked the box to allow the room number to be displayed but still nothing. The room number shows up in my schedule but not in plan. I have checked the visibility graphics, also. Any ideas? Thanks.

You probably have a tag that only display the name. If you are using OOTB tag, selct it and change it in the type selector

Even if i have a tag that only displays the name, Revit will still include a box in the properties for the visibility of the room number??

It just all depends on how the tag was made. If there was a visibility parameter on the graphics, they could be turned off. The number and the graphic might or might not have the same parameter.
