I had an issue today with a project where some of the structural members were not plotting in section views when I set the sheets to plot as vectors. As raster images, they worked just fine, but they did not show up in previews or in any plotters as vectors. As I really don't like the look of raster, I was not very happy about using that as a workaround.
Anyway, I talked to Joe Kendsersky and it turns out that this is one of the things that got fixed in the latest build: 20030502_2019.
Sometimes these incremental updates have major consequences. It was the last thing I would have thought of...I didn't even remember that I had not installed the last update...
