I am creating a new column family, I set all my parameters for size and height, Also I added a parameter for the material, but when I load this family into my project and I try to change the material, It does not change. So, I have to go to edit the family, choose a material, and then reloaded.
Now, when I edit the new family, If I go to setting, family types and go to my parameter material and choose a new material, and click OK, the column material does not change, actually I have to pick the column, right click, properties, materials and now it changes.
I hope you guys do not get confuse, I think the question is: how do I change the material of a new family once is loaded into a project without going to the family editor?
