Aloha all - am having a small problem documenting spot elevations on a toposurface (note: the toposurface has an unusually small level change - from 0" to a max of 6" over about 70'-0" of length and 35'-0" width).
I need to place spot elevations precisely on a 24"x16" grid overlaid across the entire toposurface, but in certain regions the dimensions seem to "snap" away from the point where I intend to place the dimension reference.

Any advice?
