Yet again another question: I've tried to export a Revit house to Maya, but Maya always refuses the file with an error that the format couldn't be recognized. How can I do this? And is there a way to get quads in Maya instead of triangulated models?

Hate to say it, but the best way to get a Revit model into another format is to first bring it into Max and re-export it from there. I've been able to get Revit models into Blender this way with little trouble.
What format are you trying? DWG? And if you're sucessful, you won't get any materials you know, you'll have to re-map them. If you can use Max to do the translation, you can get a model complete with materials FYI.
