Current CAD soft situation:
Revit 6.1
Autocad LT 2000

Works verry well for communication with the non-Revit community, We deliver any DWG file format from 12 up to 2000 (2004 if I dont have to check it in LT)
Most of our consultants work with rel 2000 some use 14 and one is still in DOS with rel 12.
Looking at the future (bright as allways) I was wondering if this workflow was still available?
How long is the 2000 DWG format suported by Revit?
Do I have to update/subscribe my LT just to check export drawings?
I have a problem justifying the cost to upgrade to Revit Series just for export and file compatibility reasons.

Do a google search of acad file conversions software, & you will be able to find other software for converting between .dwg releases at less cost.

Here's one. http://www.freefirestudio.com/ (http://www.freefirestudio.com/)

The ebst one I have ever found is SolidConverterDWG. I had to pay for it but it was worth it. It changes files on the fly from windows explorer in seconds.
