View Full Version : Wall wrap at Storefront insert (embed)
We cannot find a way to have the brick wrap at the insertion of a storefront wall. Can this be done or do we need to make a family instead?

Try cutting and Opening in the wall, with the Opening modeling tool.
Then place the storefront/curtainwall in the opening.
This can allow a bit more freedom at the ends of the storefront, and you could also try to place a small brick wall return into the ends of opening?
Just a couple of ideas....
Cheers....

The wrap option is controlled by ref plane define in the cutting element family. Those are not available for a wall (storefront curtain wall). You can use the edit cut profile tool to achieve hat you are after.
Thanks for the ideas.
Once again Revit fails miserably in consistancy of use. One should be able to wrap veneers and/or finishes at inserts in Storefronts and Curtainwalls. These workarounds are getting boring.
